What is a Honeymoon Registry?

Perhaps you both have been living on your own and have all your small appliances, sheets, towels, and other household items. Our registry works in a similar fashion to that of department stores; but instead of registering silver or china patterns, you let your wedding guests know that you want them to contribute to making your honeymoon, the vacation of your dreams.

MyTravel can offer a honeymoon travel registry as an exciting, alternative wedding gift. In addition, registering your honeymoon as a gift option will allow your wedding guests to contribute to something you will both enjoy and always remember.

How does it work?

Plan your dream honeymoon well in advance with one of our knowledgeable Travel Consultants.

We provide you with an initial amount of registry announcements to enclose with your invitations or mail separately (additional available at a nominal fee).

Your guests can choose any gift amount and we forward them a gift acknowledgement card to present to you as a shower or wedding gift. Or we can send the card directly to you at their request.

We will send you regular updates as to the gifts received.

All funds received will accumulate in a “client trust fund” until final payment becomes due, usually 45 – 60 days before departure. At that time we will advise you of the balance owed or if there are any surplus funds reimburse them to you…spending money for your trip!

Upon your return from your dream honeymoon we will send you a complete list of guest names and their amount of gift purchased.

Can we assist your wedding guests with their travel arrangements?

Yes! We can assist your guests with airline, car, hotel or any other travel arrangements they may need.
